Napa County booking records show Paul Pelosi, 82, was caught by police at 11:44 p.m. on Saturday and accused of two crimes connected with working a vehicle while inebriated. The news was first detailed by TMZ.
Bail was set at $5,000 and seems to have been posted, in light of the fact that in-guardianship records never again list Pelosi.
The CHP on Sunday night gave an official statement saying that Pelosi was driving on Walnut Lane in Napa and endeavored to cross State Route 29 when his Porsche was hit by the male driver of a Jeep.
